About Us

Windjammer is a unique neighborhood where you will find caring neighbors willing to answer questions and assist other community members. Something else that makes us unique is the wonderful landscaping included in the development of our community. The Windjammer Homeowners Association (WHOA), established in 1982, maintains these common areas to keep our neighborhood attractive and support our property values. Our most recent significant investment included new landscaping. Windjammer has more extensive landscaping than many other Briargate communities. The Windjammer Homeowners Association uses homeowner dues to provide the necessary care to the surrounding landscape.

Metronet has a website dedicated to addressing any questions or concerns residents may have about construction. Frequently asked questions (PDF).

Metronet promises to answer all inquiries and address any concerns within 24 business hours (M–F)  and to repair any damage occurring during construction of their network.

The Windjammer Homeowner’s Association is a non-profit corporation registered with the Colorado Secretary of State as ID number 19871486129.

Windjammer Homeowner’s Association serves the homeowners of Windjammer Subdivision. Declaration of Conditions, Covenants, Restrictions and Easements were recorded with the El Paso Country Recorder on July 2, 1982, Book 3582, page 495.

Fiscal year for the Windjammer HOA is the calendar year, January 1st–December 31st.

Assessments for the 2021 fiscal year are $400, billed in four equal, quarterly payments of $100. This includes trash and recycling pickup.
